Super yummy food.

Off the main road and had to park across the road but the food is worth it!

We had Sashimi moriawase (¥2000), pork katsu ala carte, came with a side salad (super yummy) stewed gindara (¥1400, this was superb!), grilled Saba (¥800, bit salty), chasiu ramen (¥990)

Everything cooked from scratch when you order (that’s why the katsu was so good and so different from frozen ones). Run by a local couple, friendly but no English. Would definitely go back...

Jinya is a perfect spot! The food is delicious, the owners and kind and the people are fun. The menu has every izakaya classic, all served impeccably. We visited Jinya five nights during our time in Nasu. Plenty of variety on the menu. We had deep fried oysters, horenso /spinach, beef sashimi (fabulous!) , nabeyaki Udon, a superb grilled (?) hoki fish from Hokkaido, deef fried tofu and several other dishesmnThey are closed every Wednesday.
