Nikko Kujira Cafeteria — Restaurant in Nikko

A small hidden cafe/canteen style restaurant in a peaceful residential area. Parking is 100m away from the shop at the entrance.

Maximum 6pax per group because the shop is small. Also, the signage said ‘please be quiet since it’s a residential area’.

They have two sides of menu, the pasta and the omurice. We tried pasta, served as set with starter, mini dessert and drink.

The starter, pickled veggies was surprisingly good. The pasta was al dente with Japanese twist. The mini dessert, milk pudding was just nice to end the meal.

Cozy vibe with 5-6 tables (around 16-18 seats). It is like you are having lunch in someone’s living room. Because they operate with only two staff (the chef and the waitress), please expect some waiting time when crowded. But I think it’s worth the wait if you’re not...

A real hidden gem, this comfy restaurant is lost in a residential area. You feel like you're eating in the owner's living room more than in a restaurant which gives a very cozy touch. The food was delicious for a very reasonable price. They accommodate vegetarians. You have to park 2 min away on the first parking lot you see when entering...

Foods were delicious and owner was very kind. It locates middle of residential area and 2-3 minutes walking from parking lot. There are not many seats because modifying living house. I want to visite here again. Spaghetti and Omlet rice, dessert, coffee are all good taste...
