Yamakoshi — Restaurant in Nikko

We have been travelling around the world for 8 months and this was the best food we've had so far. It's super delicious! There's an English menu, even though staff doesn't speak English. But you'll get a long way with Google translate. The friendly lady warned that it would take a long time to prepare our food (We're a group of 5), but it only took about 20 minutes. Make sure to bring cash when visiting the Kawaji Yumoto area, as most shops only accept cash. This was the best tempura I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy, almost firm and not greasy at all, so our whole family enjoyed every bite until the end. It’s a small restaurant in a little hot spring town.
