Guten Tag — Restaurant in Nishinomiya

A hidden cafe in the mountains of Kabutoyama area, opened 30 years ago. Spent an afternoon there while having a stroll around. Right in front of the cafe, there’s a little river stream, great to enjoy lunch at the terrace with the sound of river flow. Cute and cozy interior deco, not sure why it’s named in German, it does give a foreign feel. Dog friendly place and certainly you can have your fur friend have a dip in the water. The place connects to a wet land, due to dry season, water is rather low. Would be happy to return to have some...

A lovely little out of the way place. Don’t think to come by car (parking is a 15 min walk away). Simple menu and reasonable prices. Cool and refreshing from the summer heat, with the added bonus of the sound of the babbling brook outside. Maybe out of cellphone reception…which at times is a good thing! And the food/drink is delicious....

甲山森林公園を抜けて、その先の川沿いの喫茶店です。他の方がレポートしてくださっているように、佇まいが素晴らしい。静かで、気の利いた音楽がほど良い音量で流れています。そと眺めていると、鳥が元気に行き交うのを観察することができます。店内にも写真がたくさんあり、自然を大切にしていることが伺えます。

店内は、銅板で作られた飾り（お店の方の作成らしい）があり、良い雰囲気を作ってくれています。力強い木の柱も素敵です。

食事のカレーも飾らず定番の味でTHE喫茶店という感じです。コーヒーも苦味と酸味のバランス良いお味でした。残念ながら、ミルクはフレッシュに代わっていました。

ケーキは売り切れ？ということで食すことができませんでした。次回の楽しみに取っておきたいと思います。（それで星−１）

外のテラスもいいですね。川遊びの子供を眺めながら過ごすのも良さそうです。

駐車場はないので、甲山森林公園の駐車場に停めて歩いてくるのが良いと思います。（路駐車も見かけましたが…）甲山森林公園の駐車場は土日は混みますので、注意が必要です。
