Fujita — Restaurant in Numazu

We love looking for Mom and pop home cooking restaurants. Found this on Google maps about five minutes from our hotel. What sold me was their butterfish (black cod) meal set, which is SO GOOD, oily, and perfectly grilled, I probably could’ve eaten two sets! And it was such a good price! The Husband and Wife (?) were so sweet, they brought fried fishbone for us to try, which was super tasty, and gave us some other yummy things to munch on before our dinner arrived. I thought was most amusing was the four “ regulars” at the counter who probably aren’t used to seeing a lot of non-Japanese come in. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Googleマップで高評価だったのとアジフライ定食が美味しいとの事だったので11時開店に合わせて行きました 駐車場は、うまいもの街のお店共有の駐車場で広くどこでも停められる お店は入り口は狭いが中は広く座敷にテーブルが三つ、後はカウンター席 三人で食べる気満々で行ったので、アジフライ定食、上天丼定食、単品アジフライ、刺身盛り合わせ等を注文 皆んなでシェアしながら食べませたが アジフライの大きさにびっくり 一枚で十分満足出来る大きさと肉厚さ こんなアジフライ食べたこと無かったです アジフライ独特なクセがが無く、骨も無くかぶりついて食べれます 天丼も器が大きく衣サクサクでエビもぷりぷりで大変美味しい 刺身盛り合わせももちろん新鮮、西京焼きも絶品 これだけ食べて呑んで一万円でお釣りが来ました
