Cheesecake Princess — Restaurant in Ogaki

I love cheesecake and was happy to find a place dedicated to it. Sadly it was a bit of a disappointment. The coffeeshop is cute and has a wide selection of various cheesecakes. Prices per slice are between 400-600y. I tried the matcha, sweet potato and New York cheesecake. The problem is, that these aren't cheesecakes. First of all all had a kind of sponge cake bottom. I know that's a thing in Japan, but especially for the NY Cheesecake it's just wrong and doesn't work. Secondly the texture of the cheese. In most cases it's not a creamy, heavy cheese mass, but has a gelatine mousse like texture. Call not mousse cake or whatever, but that's not a cheesecake, especially not for the New York style. So overall I guess you have to manage your expectations, just don't expect a cheesecake in a western style. The service is...

Is there really fantastic place in the center of Ogaki City. I really love it because of the aesthetic and the cheesecake of course is very delicious. I stopped by on a nice afternoon so the weather made the restaurant look very picturesque. The service is really kind and friendly and they gave me a recommendation for cheesecake. I tried the Matcha cheesecake, it was absolutely wonderful. I really like this place and if you ever visit in Ogaki I highly recommend trying...
