ABSOLUTELY fantastic! The food is so filling I never eat everything on my plate, but they're happy to provide a to-go container for your leftovers. The rice and beans and salad bar that go with the a is carte menu are NOT to be missed. Fabulous food. They cook any meat to perfection. Ive had the steak once and the simmered beef ribs in tomato sauce twice, it's one of my favorites. The cost for your value is amazing. I've had multiple friends declare they'd happily make the 1.5 hour drive out just to eat here again (usually I stop by on the way to Ashikaga or other nearby cities). The menu is varied and includes a lot of classic Brazilian food. I've never had it before visiting this restaurant, but my friends who are familiar were overjoyed by the wide menu selection. Note: there are no English speakers on staff as far as I can tell - as a white person, when I walk in I'm greeted in Portuguese. They're fine with basic Japanese, though! I use Japanese with them since I don't speak any Portuguese. I had two different friends try Spanish without success, so I recommend using Japanese if you don't speak Portuguese. The menu has pictures, which definitely helps if your Google translate is unhelpful. I'm sure anything you order would be delicious, though, even if Google translate doesn't explain the dish well! My missus is Brazilian. So I’m regularly forced to eat at Brazilian restaurants. While her cooking at home is great, I am perpetually disappointed with the quality and lack of flavor of the food at every restaurant we’ve been to in Japan. This is the first time I was very pleasantly surprised. The salad bar was excellent. (That was the main difference here vs other places I’ve been. And the burger was very good as well.
