Bacon Bar 🥓 🍺!
Just go !! Stop 🛑🛑reading and Go ! Why are you still reading go! 🏃🏻♂️💨 Ok seriously this place is great, from the decor, atatmosphere, staff, and most importantly the food. I talked to the owner Evan and asked him to pick his best recommendation and I was not disappointed. The bacon brisket cheddar biscuit 🤯 (pictured). They have a breakfast, lunch and dinner covered!!! Majority of the food and drinks are home made in house from scratch. Yes that means like mama made it. I know I’ll be going back and working my way through the menu ! Best time for you to pick up a pizza is Sunday 🍕 they have a unique way of prepping their dough.
Bathroom - clean and private Parking - they are right next to the gas station. Park in the back of the small Ally way Fun facts - you can buy some or the paintings they have as decoration .
Update 1. BOLT ⚡️ 🥓 🥬🍳🍅. Great sandwich. Nothing was over powering the other you can taste how fresh the tomatoes and lettuce are. The little honey mustard evens out the flavor of egg and bacon…… I also recommend getting a piece of French toast ! The flavor is rich but not too sweet, which leads to a great combination.🥞 they are fluffy and not soggy.
Update 2: pizza 🍕!! The turtles would be proud of this ! The sauce has a lot of flavor and is a great consistency. The cheese is fresh and doesn’t take over the flavor of the toppings. I had a margarita style and it was great. You can also taste the flavor of the crush and notice the difference in preparation.
Eggs Benedict is back on the menu !! The hollandaise sauce is amazing , crafted from Scratch and a unique taste with each bite. The eggs are done to perfection
The wagyu Reuben sandwich is a rare choice on the menu and I suggest you try it while it’s still around. The Bread is nice and toasty didn’t get soggy by sauerkraut because they use a pickled cabbage, and there homemade sauce is a new spin to this classic.
Gotta show up Sunday !!! Get some eggs Benedict, home made top to bottom biscuits meat and sauce ! Show up early supplies limited and go fast …. Expected for made From scratch home made greatness.
Pulled pork sandmich should be a menu regular but sadly here for a short period of time! This 2 week prep for pulled pork 🍖is well worth it. Granted I did zero prep but I did do 💯 of the eating ! The sauce and coleslaw topped on this fresh bun blended so well I wanted to eat more if I...
Read moreI recently went to Bacon Bar with my friends and when I told Evan that I was vegan he immediately put together a masterpiece just for me. It was the most incredible vegan grilled cheese that has completely redefined my expectations for plant-based comfort food. This culinary masterpiece was a true revelation in the world of vegan cuisine. The moment I took my first bite, I was transported to a realm of unparalleled delight. The vegan grilled cheese boasted a perfect balance of flavors and textures that left me utterly astounded. The bread was flawlessly toasted to a golden crisp, providing a satisfying crunch with every bite. The cheese substitute used was nothing short of a triumph, delivering a remarkable gooeyness and stretchiness that closely resembled traditional cheese. What truly set this grilled cheese apart was its savory profile that danced harmoniously on my taste buds. The umami-packed layers of flavor were a testament to the skillful combination of ingredients and seasoning. I was particularly impressed by how well the sandwich held together, allowing me to savor every element with each mouthful. It's rare to find a vegan grilled cheese that manages to capture the essence of its non-vegan counterpart, but this creation achieved that and more. The attention to detail in crafting this masterpiece was evident, from the choice of bread to the thoughtful pairing of ingredients. As someone who has enjoyed their fair share of grilled cheese sandwiches, I can confidently say that this vegan rendition ranks as the best I have ever encountered. To top it off they also included a dessert. What truly set this dessert apart was its ability to evoke a sense of nostalgia while pushing the boundaries of culinary innovation. It managed to capture the essence of classic desserts while infusing them with a modern twist that showcased the creativity of the chef. It was abundantly clear that no expense had been spared in sourcing the finest ingredients, resulting in a dessert that was nothing short of extraordinary. This experience has broadened my culinary horizons and shattered any preconceived notions I had about vegan comfort food. If you're seeking an unforgettable dining experience that's both ethically conscious and delightfully indulgent, BACON BAR is an absolute must-try. You cannot get this kind of customer service...
Read moreThis is actually the first Google review I’ve ever written — and it’s because I felt so strongly compelled to. We’ve been to this restaurant twice, and this visit will certainly be our last.
The food is just okay. The bacon is soggy and cold — which is disappointing, especially for a place that advertises as “bacon bar.”
We walked into an empty restaurant at 9:30 on a Saturday morning. The two waitresses seemed unsure of where to seat us, and we just sat there awkwardly while they struggled to decide. We thought maybe we should leave. We assumed they were preparing for a big rush, but during our entire meal, only one other family came in.
It’s poor customer service when you already feel like an inconvenience just by walking in. We would’ve understood if they mentioned having upcoming reservations — but nothing was said.
Once seated, it took about 10 minutes to get a menu. We received our food eventually, but no one ever came back to check on us. Again — there was just one other family in the restaurant, and they hadn’t even been served yet.
We asked for more maple syrup. The waitress acknowledged us and said “okay,” but never brought it. Instead we sat there watching her wiping a table down, then went to clean the bar, and even the floor. We sat there as one of the only tables, watching her, and after another 10 minutes, we reminded her: “Hey, can we get that maple syrup, please?” She simply replied “okay,” without acknowledging the delay or oversight.
She first went to the register to charge us 200 yen for it and then we watched her go in the kitchen, poor the syrup, without washing her hands from just cleaning the floors. We felt disgusted. What she brought us was about 1tbsp of cold maple syrup for 200 yen. We were confused because the small dish of syrup we got with the meal was full.
We paid and left — and we won’t be returning. We admire and love Japan so much and almost every restaurant we go we are blown away by their customer service, respect and attention to detail. This place is far from that. Despite all the hype, this place is overpriced and sloppy. Take your...
