Shishimaru Yakiniku — Restaurant in Okinawa

We frequent this little yakiniku joint often, it is one of our favorites. Quality meat, sides, and service. My favorites: fallen ribs, skirt, miso pork, and any of the other beef ribs. His favorites: beef liver, chicken heart, chicken liver and lemon chu-hi. Says it’s the best he’s ever had. Our favorite sides: salted cabbage (we seriously get about 3 orders) and the kimchi. Daughter loves the chocolate roll dessert. Cannot say enough good things...

Friendly staff! The place itself is a bit small with not very many tables but the meat definitely makes up for it! Beer was ice cold! The best kimuchi I have tried on island! The closet tasting compared to kimuchi in Korea! I absolutely loved it paired with all the delicious cuts of meat available. Surprised by how good the tongue was here because I usually am not a fan of tongue myself. Highly recommend this...
