Not a Taco Bell like you'd think it was, and as it's called. It's just a cafe. They have 1 type of taco (beef) and other food like steak, fried rice, ramen, etc.
As soon as you walk in you get hit in the face with the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke. It doesn't seem like there's any ventilation so as people smoke inside it just fills up. I almost left, but because I already had driven here, and because of the name, I wanted to give it a try.
Unfortunately, the place was dirty, too. There were dust balls everywhere.
The tacos were okay. Nothing to brag about. I asked for no lettuce and for some reason the tomatoes came out as slices on the side and they didn't even give enough for all four tacos. I also tried the fried rice which was a better choice than the tacos.

Read moreThis place has been around for a very long time for a good reason. The food is good, they are always open 24/7 and price is very reasonable. The down side of this is that it is very old inside. The table are old school video games that no longer function which unfortunately does not leave much leg room when seated (update 2024, new tables with much more leg room have been installed). The tacos, steak and coffee are all great. Definitely a great place for late night bite to eat.
This is also one of the few places around that serves actual good breakfast in the morning.
Use the vending machine to pay/order.
