We embarked on a 20-minute wait to secure our spot at a recommended restaurant. The anticipation paid off when we finally got in. The taste of the food was delicious, especially the incredibly flavorful meat.

This restaurant offers Ohmi beef which is one of the top three wagyu brands in Japan. Quality is really good and price is reasonable. Just order the menu with a selection of choices on how beef is prepared.

2017年の春平日に初めて伺って、２回目の来店です。前回近江八幡に観光に来た時に、初めて近江牛のすき焼きを食べてとても美味しかったので、また機会があったら来たいと思っていて、今回２年振りに9月の平日に来ました。席は前回と同じ、お座敷に案内されましたが、前回はお座敷で座布団に座る形でしたが、今回、お座敷にテーブルと椅子に座る形になっていました。今回も前回と同じ近江牛すき焼き御膳(近江牛100グラム)2800円を頂きました！前回食べた時、今まで食べたお肉の中で一番美味しいと感じましたが、今回も頂いたら、やっぱり美味しい！！近江牛がとても柔らかくて、口に含むとスッと噛みきれて、味も美味しくて、やっぱり今まで食べたお肉の中で一番美味しいと改めて感じました。あとすき焼きの丁字麩が、すき焼きの汁が染み込んで、こちらもめちゃくちゃ美味しいです。また店主の方も、お客様それぞれに挨拶していて、ごはんお代わり出来ますや、食後にコーヒーか、紅茶、りんごジュースから選んでサービスで出して頂き、とてもうれしかったです！駐車場も店の横に４台位停めれます。(無料)近くのコインパーキングに提携駐車場もあるようでした。私達は普通に入れましたが、帰るときに来た方は、予約が、入っているからと、断られていたので、行きたい方は、一度お店に電話で確認してから来店されると確実だと思います。

Such a lovely restaurant, perfect food, very friendly staff and reasonable prices. This place was definitely a highlight in our Omihachiman trip. The Omi beef steak (150gr in the photo) was simply great.

When we visited in June, there were no tourists and the place was full with locals. The staff did not speak any English but they were kind enough to call their chef who spoke some English to explain the menu to us.
