Every time I fly in from Shanghai to Ibaraki on Spring Airlines, I really love grabbing a bite to eat at Suginoya, a cafeteria-like restaurant on the second floor of the airport. Given that the bus to Tokyo Station leaves approximately an hour and a half after I land in Ibaraki, it gives me ample time to enjoy a Tonkatsu meal. The pork that they use is local Ibaraki pork, and it's fried to perfection.
