Momonga Coffee — Restaurant in Ono

What a gem of a coffee shop right off the Shichiken Morning Market. We were driving the gorgeous route from Fukui to Eheiji to Ono to Katsuyama and on to Kanazawa via the mountains, and had the luck of finding such a quaint coffee shop. Owner was friendly and very knowledgeable about coffee - as good as anything I had in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka (most of which were great). 以前から気になっていたカフェ。駐車場が全く見当たらなかったが、近くに数台分用意されているので、私の画像に駐車場所を載せたので参照ください。 お店の前まで来ると、コーヒー豆の焙煎した良い香りが漂い、お店に入らずにはいられないほど。店内に入ると、オーナーのこだわりの強い店作りに驚かされます。今回は1人だったので、カウンター席に座り、アイスコーヒーをオーダー。間違いなく美味しいと思います。

私がお店に行った際に必ずチェックするトイレも、とても綺麗で、手洗い場がコーヒーカップになっているのもまたオーナーの拘りが溢れていて好印象。ただトイレットペーパーのホルダーもデザイン重視のためか、紙を取り出しにくいのは仕方ないかな。 またカウンターの端に置かれていたサーキュレーター。黒なので埃があるかと思いきや、全くなくちゃんと掃除が行き届いている点も高評価ですね。意外とこういうサーキュレーターが汚い飲食店って多いんですよね。でもこのお店は違いました。地味にスゴいと思います。
