We drove the bike from Onomichi station for more than 90mins and stopped here for lunch. This ramen is pure Onomichi style - soy source soup with pork fat - which is one of the best I’ve ever tasted.
You can choose only ramen or combo with fried rice (see the picture) or fried dumplings, both of which are also very tasty. As all dishes are not that big portion, I would recommend to order combo (A set or B set) to enjoy real Onomichi ramen.
The restaurant looks like a typical and old-good ramen restaurant in Japan where there are about 10 seats at the counter with 3 tables for groups (seat on the floor for about 4 people).
All dishes taste awesome and my family, including kids, really miss it. Those who bike Shimanami Kaidoust visit here and taste Onomichi ramen here. It surely will be a good energizer for you to travel...

Genuinely the best ramen I've gotten in a restaurant. Service was lightning fast and my group of 6 was eating in less than 10 minutes. There's discarded trash, boxes, etc outside which is a little off-putting, especially in Japan. Also the server was very messy with the water service and slightly slamming the water cups down on the table, leaving large streaks of water along the table.

観光で因島を訪れた際、こちらのラーメン専門店「萬来軒」さんでお昼ご飯をいただきました。 伺ったのは日曜日の12時ぐらいで、休日とはいえ一番お忙しい時間帯だと思われ、お店の前にある8台ほどが停められる駐車場はほぼ満車状態でした。 車のナンバーを見ると「和泉」など関西から来られている方も多いようでした。 我々は大人5名、幼児1名のグループだったため、2席あるお座敷が空くのを待っていたのですが、15～20分ほど待ったかと思います。 今回私が注文したのは、ラーメンと半チャーハンがセットになった「ラーメン定食（税込950円）」。ラーメンは醤油ベースで粗めの背油がトッピングされた、いわゆる尾道ラーメンで、具材はチャーシュー、メンマ、刻みネギとシンプルですが、スープは比較的濃いめのコクがあるタイプです。 厨房の料理人の方がカンコロン・カンコロン…と超リズミカルに中華鍋をあおって作られる半チャーハンはご飯がパラパラでお味もしっかりしていて美味しかったです。 ただ、座った席にもよるのかも知れませんが、今回は南側の窓際のお座敷で、窓の外から豚骨スープを煮出した時のようなニオイが漂ってきていて、それがラーメンの味を邪魔しているようで、私としてはイマイチ美味しくいただくことが出来ませんでした。 最初はラーメンのニオイかとも思って、スープ、麺、チャーシュー、メンマなどを鼻に近づけて確認しましたがどれも普通の匂いでしたので、やっぱり外からのニオイで間違いないと思います。 これが無ければもっと美味しくいただけたのかも…と考えると残念ですが、この辺りの感じ方は人それぞれなので、あくまでも個人の感想ということで捉えてください。 お店の左奥にはサイン色紙もたくさん飾ってあって、因島出身のバンド「ポルノグラフィティー」の新藤晴一さん（？）の...
