The staff were very friendly and polite, and there was a wide selection of food. Lunchtime offers some good bargains, as is typical of Japanese eateries, and the dinner menu also seemed to have reasonably priced à la carte options.

That said, while the kitchen-prepared entrees were quite good, the yakiniku dishes were disappointing.

The ロース was significantly more expensive than other items and, although tasty, came with only three pieces of meat. The カルビ was extremely chewy, came with just four slices, and was among the worst I have had in all my years...

This yakiniku restaurant in Nishikujo is a hidden gem. The horigotatsu seating is a real highlight where you can kick off your shoes and relax in comfort.
