We stumbled across this around the corner from our hotel. With our non existent Japanese we managed to communicate that we would like a recommendation for the kids (2 six year olds) and the chef’s recommendation for us. We ended up having a great range of food, loved the gyoza made by the chefs wife, and the octopus balls. A lovely little shop near Nishikujo station. We went in the morning and the chef cooked us 5 dishes for a delicious breakfast! This shop has been open 5 months and has a great vibe, lots of beautiful instruments and the chef is very friendly. Excellent value for money.
