OMG! This place was amazing!|I highly recommend this place for anyone traveling through Shikoku.|Food and board are very reasonable and will not break the bank!||Speaking of the food, I literally still dream of it! It was THAT good! Trout, fresh from the stream and prepared with precision, expertise, and care!|I’ve eaten many kinds of “Kaiseki” style meals all over japan, here was one of my favorite.|Not long after my stay, I visited the states to see my family, and I brought them some of the “Amago-kanroni” a sweetened pickled trout. At first they seemed apprehensive, not being used to such things but after trying it they had no problem finishing them off!||As far as the rooms it was a pleasant stay, quiet and comfortable! All that I could ask for. ||This place is not a 5 star hotel nor does it try to be. It is a pleasant homey countryside getaway. The bath is in a separate outside room that is heated by a fire. What a pleasant soak.||I honestly could not think of anything to criticize about this place. If anything, it’s being far away is such a shame, but that is also what makes it so great! It is deep in the woods seemingly away from everything!||For non-Japanese speaking individuals, I would not worry, I am unsure of the owners english ability, but they were very kind people! Such a lovely family!|They do have English menus and signs. |They will even help you catch your own trout and show you how to prepare it!||For a nice countryside get away with great food board and scenery I recommend that you...
