A very cute, old wooden house situated right beside the sea side. One of the grandmas told me that they close the shop in October every year and will start serving food again the following spring when the weather is warmer. It is nice that we were able to check this shop out before it close for the winter. The interior is really cute, and you can see that they’ve put in a lot of effort. There’s a really nice selection of fresh, affordable seafood dishes, which you can order as a set or alone. The portion size was generous which I appreciate. I was most amazed by the scallops — it was juicy, sweet and just melts in your mouth. The shrimp and uni were also really impressive. We also ordered the 焼ききんき, and it was grilled to perfection with the skin being crispy on the outside but soft and juicy on the inside. I’m glad that this restaurant exists, and I am grateful for the generous, kind and welcoming aunties and grandmas who are running it. I hope the shop will be there for a very long time and I would love to...

Very charming and quaint establishment managed and run by very lovely and smiley sweet old ladies! Returned the next day for more! Companion had the grilled kinki fish which she said was extremely great value as in Sapporo-Furano restaurants they were charging 7-8,000¥ vs 2,500¥ (market price) here. She could not stop raving about the taste till now. I had the hamo (eel) set and sashimi on the side first and the uni+crab+roe don the next day. Extremely fresh and tasty! The uni was sweet and creamy, not briny at all. They sell Rausu konbu as well, and they serve it as a side dish for some sets. Highly...

Spotted this place by chance and stopped by to try. Surprisingly the food was super yummy and I tried the grilled fish. They have a nice cool deco inside this wooden house built place next to the sea. Beautiful scenery while enjoying the food. They have little cosy toilet outside the their place too. Do stop by if you are in the way to catch whale watching cruise and...
