I was surprised to find such a delicious restaurant space so close to a historic site. Every plate was delicious, and everyone really enjoyed the included salad and soup. The salad leaves in particular had no bitterness at all, which was quite surprising. Dining here before traveling around Aikawa, just in front of Kitazawa Flotation Plant, a gorgeous view while having my wonderful lunch! All of the staff were so kind and one of them introduced the Aikawa area and Kitazawagama to me. I ordered 佐渡島黑豚ボロネーゼパスタセット(Sado Island Berkshire Bolognese Pasta Set). Set menu consisted of pasta, salad and soup.The pasta was made with Bolognese sauce which used berkshire from Sado and lots of tomatoes, and hand-kneaded pasta noodles.The pasta was chewy and perfectly combined with the sauce, tasted great! Also, the salad and soup were prepared from the heart! And I added 鈴木ブレンドコーヒー(Suzuki brand coffee), which tasted great, too.(p.s. the adorable cup and plate set were from Kitazawagama)!
