Sasebo Burger Museum — Restaurant in Sasebo

The view from the parking lot is amazing. The building seems to be falling down the hill and part of the deck on the right side is shifting down and is leaning, which is odd.

They don't care if your Japanese is terrible and need a second to get out what you are ordering...they just order you what they think you said and you get what you get. There did not seem to be any with any kind of English. I don't expect them to speak English but when I tried to use my Japanese they just ignored me.

The hamburger was OK but the ham/bacon was kind of raw and a little floppy. I am all good with chewy bacon but this was just odd. Not a bad flavor and overall not a bad day. Any day in Sasebo eating burgers is a good day.

Really soft bread with a nice thin crunch from toasting in the surface, and patties were juicy and soft. Fillings in the special burger (egg, bacon, cheese) were in good balance with the lettuce and tomato. The view outside is obviously one of the main attractions of this place, but no one sits outside because there are apparently birds I think that might come and steal your food or something so the cashier points to a warning sign to look out for tombi. There were plenty of seats to sit inside, and good vibes with the bgm. I came around 11:30 and it was about a 5 min wait in line and 15 min wait once...

I tried a few Sasebo burgers including those highly rated ones. I personally think this is the best. Everything is made from scratch and is really good. They take a lot of pride from the bun, sauce, patty, bacon and vegetables. Even the chicken nuggets are so good. Service is excellent. The chef and service staff are so warm and kind hearted. Atmosphere is one in a million with a great view and casual burger joint vibes. If you have time/tummy for only one, please try this one.
