Our first choice sushi restaurant was fully booked, so we went there instead. It was not so busy at dinner time and has a parking place behind the shop which was good for rent car tourists like us. I guess it might not be easy to park and might be busy during daytime as there are a bank and shops near this place, but dinner time was quiet. It is easy to find as it is located along a road.
Normal Sushi (1200 Yen) was wonderful, and special sushi at 2400 Yen had a bigger sashimi and some more expensive pieces like sea urchin. We also had some rolls at very reasonable price. Grilled eel was also a good choice. Small sashimi dish is also recomandable. The only reget is we couldn't find any other hot dishes beside miso soup.
Mr. Yamoto who was very quiet, has made sushi for more than 50 years which was proved by his foods. The lady who served us was very kind and willing to help us. We managed to order thanks to her, in spite of the language barrier. The sake she recommended was also very good.
I hope as Mr. Yamato continues to be well, I would love to visit this place again when I visit Sasebo...
