Flat White Coffee Factory — Restaurant in Sendai

It's busy for a reason. There's not a lot of space for parking but that's from a westernized perspective. I'm giving it 5-stars because the service is impressive. The owner is very passionate with coffee making and he enjoys talking about his coffee beans in details. You can tell he really loves what he's doing. He's also very welcoming and even encouraged me to read the books in the shop for sale. I didn't buy the book I read but I loved it. I am always impressed by customer service. Yes, it's out of the way from central Sendai but I think it's worth coming back to because of the owner himself. Makes me wonder what other coffee beans he'll be roasting in the future! When I heard there was a place that serves flat white coffee, and is called Flat White Coffee Factory I had high hopes that I would be able to get something that was similar to what I would be able to find at home in Sydney.

However the drink that I was given was too milky, and burnt in the extraction.

The cafe itself was immaculate, and the service was fantastic as you can imagine. So I can't blame the staff for the coffee. My humble suggestion to the owners would be to invest in some more barista training, and semi regular testing.

I don't want this to come across as a complaint, but just a bit of feedback from a hopeful, dedicated flat...

I loved the drink I got. I forgot what it was called but it was the best cafe ole I've ever had. The meal was breakfast food like eggs, bakon, etc. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful too. The decor is well done. The music that was playing was acoustic covers of songs which was hilarious because something like "I'm sexy and I know it" will be playing but it's a calm acoustic version so it matches the vibe as long as you don't listen to the lyrics. 😂 Anyway. Getting too long. I really loved this place and am absolutely going again. I recommend they play Surfaces or Pink Sweat$ instead of their music...
