Great place. Great food wonderfully presented. Either give yourself an hour for wait time or be there by 1045 am in line before opening. Because of the prep and presentation getting your food takes time. Be patient it's worth the wait. I was disappointed to find out the "Al Pastor" they listed for their burrito was chicken and not traditional pork but was blown away by the response to my complaint. "What can we do to make it up to you?". The sign of truly great service. Usually Japan is full of empty excuses for service/product failures. The joy in hearing that completely overcame my complaint.
I believe the owner is Derek and is a professional offering unique/delicious items.
I had a carnitas burrito and my wife a vegetarian burrito with fries. Huge portions and all extremely delicious. On a slightly understandable point their sour cream is more of a thin sour cream sauce. Still delicious but don't expect an American version of sour cream.
Give yourself time to find public free parking because parking immediately next to the restaurant is guarded by the horseman of the apocalypse....
Read moreI was really looking forward to going there, but was very disappointed. I had read 5 and 1 star reviews, so I was wondering which were true. The weather was hot, the place had one air conditioner, so it was quite hot in there. We ended up having to wait over 50 minutes for our burgers. My wife’s was a single, the sauce was running out like water all over her flat slate plate. Mine was a double, both smashed. The patties were so thin, which must be why they were overdone and dry. You can’t really taste the meat….3 mm thin, then grilled. The 1,200 yen fries with lots of topping including excellent bacon were delicious. They have to make the patties thicker to get any juiciness. The staff should have let customers know they would have to wait ages in the hot restaurant. Not in my top 10 in Japan after traveling all over Japan for burgers. Hope they improve. ...
Read moreI regularly visit this establishment and I always feel full and even buy a second meal to take home for dinner after most visits. Everyone who works there is happy and friendly to point that you feel like you’re at home with family. The only place I’ve been to in Japan that actually reminds me of the type of places I would visit out of Japan. They also serve a non alcoholic beer that actually tasted good. This is something very few places consider when serving lol free options. To take it further they will also do most cocktails without alcohol on request. Overall I would highly recommend this place and to all the people who complain about the thickness of the patty GOOGLE WHAT A SMASH BURGER IS! The best burger you’ll find in Japan and I...
