Nice simple soba and udon restaurant. Their speciality is a grilled mochi in a stick, which has a limited quantity each day. We went on a rainy weekday in spring, and it was easy to get a place at lunchtime. I can imagine it would be very difficult on the weekend and in warmer weather - the restaurant only has 3 tables. Run by a lovely...

Got the soba and goheimochi set and it was unbelievably good! Soba was gentle and yet so delicious, while the goheimochi was probably one of the best I had during my short trip around the region.

Glad that this shop is still open just after 2 pm. Had the most comforting soba under this downcast weather. The kuri zensai while sweet but when u eat with the shiokonbu it was very very good. The owners are most friendly....
