Stumbled upon here for lunch after my Yabuhara-Narai hike.
Greeted by a friendly Japanese man who served me tea and handed me brochures whilst I waited for my food to arrive. I ordered a hot bowl of udon filled with various veg (carrot-shaped flowers!) which was accompanied by a delicious miso-aubergine side dish (my fav). This miso-aubergine was brimming with umami goodness. Very traditional interiors with seating on tatami mats. Great place for lunch or just coffee/tea with light snack to fuel your wanders...
