あろうことか目当てにしていた『寿し幸』が休業していた。残念だ。しかしながら「裏手にある喫茶ポパイは営業中」と看板が出ていたので言われたとおりに訪れた。見た目も愛想も良い女性スタッフが「今日のランチはかつ丼ですよ♪」と言うのでメニュー表を見ることもなく「はい。では、それをお願いします」と素直に応じた。「おいおい、これでたったの５００円かよ！？」と活字で驚くくらいかつ丼ランチはステキな仕事っぷりだった。（2021_08_27）
