This shop is such a gem in a hot days, The atmosphere is warm and stylish, and the staff are very kind and welcoming the ice cream was rich in flavor, creamy, and perfectly balanced, what impressed me most was the variety of unique flavors you don’t find everywhere, many of them inspired by the shop, The presentation and freshness made it feel special, and it paired beautifully with the island’s relaxed vibe. Definitely a must-visit if you’re on Shodoshima—whether for a refreshing treat on a hot day or simply to enjoy something truly artisanal.🍨✨

Love this minimalistic space with very, very delicious gelato! 4 flavours that we ordered: 1. Sweet potato — very buttery texture, interesting! 2. Soy sauce crumble — if you are a fan of savoury ice cream flavours, you’d probably would love this. Well balanced! 3. Olive — didn’t expect this to be good at first, but was pleasantly surprised! You’d keep going at it, because it’s JUST SO GOOD. 4. Black sesame — not too sweet. Just nice, just right. ♥️♥️♥️

Cute gelato shop that we walked by on the way back to the ferry terminal. Flavors are definitely unique so it’s fun but it’s lightly flavored. It might feel not sweet enough for people who eat highly sweet things. ¥420 single ¥450 double and ¥530 triple. They take all sorts of payment method so that made it easier. Not much seating area inside or out, so I recommend to eat at beach near by.

If for whatever reason you've found yourself in Kusakabe port at Shodoshima, you should find a moment to visit Minori Gelato. The ice cream served there is of excellent quality and the pallete of flavors that is very attractive for a visitor on the "olive island". As foreigners, we have tried following tastes: sake, seasme oil, green tea with milk, soy sauce and ginger. None of them failed to deliver a great experience, and the latter two provided quite a spectacle to the senses. Wheter it is the bus or the ferry you are waiting for it is always better to wait with ice cream...
