Sutekimiya — Restaurant in Showa

My wife, daughter and I came to this restaurant for the first time after spending time at a nearby park. We were pleasantly surprised. We were sat in a large booth in the back row of the restaurant, which may have been due to having a young child (she is almost 5 years old). As a result, it was quiet and no other people were in the booths near us, but we saw a bigger family with smaller children leaving. A bit in the distance, we could also hear several people speaking kind of loudly, so I am glad we were sitting where we were. The menu selections are mainly MEAT. They had T-bone steak at quite a high price, but also had reasonablly priced options. They had a good selection of kids meals, and we all shared a mango parfait. Even though we chose less expensive dishes, the bill ended up being over 4,000 yen for three people. They also have a drink bar, a salad bar and a rice bar. When we were getting our drinks, this area proved to be too narrow for the number of people. Later, when I went back by myself, there weren't any problems. 昭和店には初めて行きました 日曜の12:30頃でしたが、駐車場はほぼ一杯の割には 待ちは1組だったので10分程度で案内されました。

同種のファミレスでBi Boがありますがそちらより店内は明るくて綺麗な感じ 客層は、ほぼ、小さなお子様同伴の家族ですがその割には店内は静かでした。

サラダバーの器は、その場に置いてあるのではなく、テーブルに運ばれてくる物を使うのですが、今のご時世、この手の器は毎回新しい物を使うようにアナウンスしているのが一般的なので、そこはどうなの？と思います。しかもサラダを取る際には手袋までさせるのに、なんだかチグハグな対応に感じます。 因みにデザート用の器やドリンクバーのグラス類は毎回新しい物を使用可能です。 でも、サラダボウルはサイズが結構大きめなのはいいと思います。 でも和風のドレッシングが美味しくないと、一緒に行ったオクサンが申しておりました。 それと、店内をロボットが行き来して、ナイフ類とお水を運んでいるのですが、メインのステーキ等はソースを店員さんがかける関係でロボットには任せられないため、ぶっちゃけロボットの必要性がほぼ感じられません。ナイフ類は最初からテーブルに置いておいても問題ないでしょうし、お水はドリンクバーの所でセルフというのもありますので、無理にロボ...
