Sushiro Esaka — Restaurant in Suita

I used to frequent this restaurant when I lived in Esaka 8 years ago. Food was good and the staff was always kind to us Gaijin. Went recently, excited to share this spot with my family. We checked in on the screen for 3 for a table (note: no one was able to help us, the staff seemed more weary of Westerners). After almost an hour and a half of waiting there were still 5 parties ahead of us for a table. We ultimately had to leave as it was getting late and we were hungry. What was frustrating was multiple single people would go sit at a table. I understand that is an option and the system is first come first serve. We might have reconsidered staying the length we did had the estimated wait screen been accurate (said 50 minutes when we signed in). If you want to visit, I suggest getting their app and getting in the queue prior to arrival. Folks who had already has their number passed by walk-ins would get to check in when they arrived and immediately jump to the head of the line. This Sushiro experience is unique as there are only 3 outlets of this kind throughout Japan, namely Tokyo, Nagoya and here in Esaka, Suita, Osaka, which also happens to be Sushiro's headquarters (just a few blocks away - missed it!) スシロー江坂店は、御堂筋線の江坂駅から徒歩数分の場所に位置し、アクセスが非常に便利です。2024年12月24日に訪問した際、店内はクリスマスイブの雰囲気で賑わっており、多くの家族連れや友人グループで活気に満ちていました。

店内には「デジタルスシロービジョン」、通称「デジロー」と呼ばれる大型タッチパネルが設置されており、視覚的に楽しみながら注文が可能です。このシステムは、メニューの選択や注文を直感的に行えるだけでなく、エンターテインメント性も兼ね備えており、子どもから大人まで楽しめる工夫がされています。

また、スシローでは一定金額以上の料理を注文すると、抽選ゲームが楽しめるシステムがあります。この抽選ゲームは、注文した皿数に応じて自動的に行われ、当たるとオリジナルグッズなどの賞品がもらえる仕組みです。特に子どもたちに人気があり、食事の時間をより楽しいものにしてくれます。

予約はLINEや公式アプリから可能で、事前に予約しておくとスムーズに入店できます。ただし、現地でのチェックインを忘れると予約が無効になる場合があるため、注意が必要です。予約システムは便利ですが、初めて利用する方には操作が少し分かりづらいと感じるかもしれません。

メニューは非常に多彩で、新鮮なネタを使用した寿司はもちろん、サイドメニューやデザートも充実しています。期間限定のフェアや新メニューも定期的に登場し、訪れるたびに新しい味を楽しめるのが魅力です。価格帯もリーズナブルで、一般的な寿司皿は一皿110円からとなっており、家族や友人と一緒に訪れても財布に優しい設定です。

今回、3人で訪問し、合計で約12,000円の食事を楽しみました。質の高い寿司とバラエティ豊かなメニューを考えると、コストパフォーマンスに優れていると感じました。また、店内の雰囲気やスタッフの対応も良く、快適な時間を過ごすことができました。
