I stayed for 1,5 months in this hotel for business traveling in Osaka. The room was small, but compact. Because this is an old hotel, the lobby, dining room, bedroom was old. But, I found it very comfortable to stay. The bed was nice, the room was clean, the breakfast was quite complete (But they repeat the same food everyday. If you stay for long time, sometimes you want to have breakfast outside). ||The bathroom inside was small as well. But same like other toilet in Japan, the closet was comfortable with many buttons. Also there's a bathtub inside. You cannot lay down like other bathtube, because the length is something below 100cm. But it's depth may allow you to soak in (something like more than 50 cm). ||The best thing in this hotel is, although the price is cheap (for hotel in Japan), there is onsen (hotspring) insight! In the highest floor. It provides two massage chairs as well, for free! Also, they have sauna room. Unfortunately, ladies can only use onsen in the morning (from 6 a.m), meanwhile men can use onsen at night. ||Another thing inside the hotel, there's washing machine and dryer. So you can save your money and do your laundry there, with 100 or 200 yen (I forgot the exact amount, but it's cheap!). While you are waiting for your laundry, you can have a drink in vending machine.||Best part in this hotel is their service to the customer. although they cannot speak English (most of them), but they keep on smiling, and try to help you the best they can. I remembered I travel last year and received many help from Uwagi (the receptionist guy). ||About the location, it's not in the center of Osaka. But the access to the hotel is very easy. Just go to Esaka Station, you can reach this hotel by walk, only around 3-5 minutes.||Near the hotel there's a shopping pedestrian. You may find Tokyu Hand, Shimamura, 100 Yen Store, Book store & DVD Store, Mr. Donut, Starbucks, and local restaurants, which are very delicious. Some of them also increadibly cheap! Also close to Sushiro, where you can buy sushi in a cheap price. ||One thing made us slower is the amount of lift only 2, and quite slow movement of the lift. So if we are hurry in the morning, and so other people, you need to wait for some times to serve all guests.||Next time I travel again to Osaka, I definitely will stay in this hotel...
Read moreStayed here for a couple of nights and the hotel itself was fine but you are not near the main attractions of Osaka. The area around the hotel is fairly dead with few local options for food and drinks. Luckily there is a metro stop just a couple of minutes walk away but to get to the busier parts of town then its a number of stops or a change of lines. ||My advice is to find a hotel in the busier areas of Osaka which will give you plenty of choice for things to do both during the day and in the evening.||||On the plus side the room was small but had everything we needed. Hotel offered free umbrellas when raining which is very handy and were extremely helpful in getting us to Kansai airport for a very early flight using the metro and express train. ( even google could not figure...
