Nishikawa — Restaurant in Tajiri

I came on a quiet Monday night about an hour before closing and was the only customer in the restaurant. The staff were so welcoming and kind, despite the language barrier. We had a small conversation using Google translate, and I really appreciated their willingness to chat with me. Oh yeah, and the food is EXCELLENT. Their nigiri is quite large, but super fresh and delicious. And the miso soup was one of the best I've ever had. I ordered the ¥2000 nigiri set and a cold sake.
