My experience here has been rather disappointing; primarily with the service in the Sky Restaurant on the 14th floor. Arrived shortly after 9:00 AM for breakfast only to find out that there were dwindling contents left in the food warmers. The kitchen staff didn't even bother replenishing the food. Minutes after we sat down with whatever food we could scrape up, a custodian approached us and pulled out her watch to show us the time. Very unprofessional and rude. Is she trying to chase us off? The dining room had plenty of vacant tables and it wasn't busy. Shortly after this ordeal, the same custodian started retrieving all of the spoons and tongs from the food warmers. The problem is that she didn't replace them with clean ones which suggests that she was trying to prevent hotel clients from taking whatever was left and also to avoid cooking a new batch. Grilled mackerel was the only item replenished during our breakfast session. The tong was taken away shortly after it was replenished and there was no replacement. I could care less about bringing this issue up to the staff because all of the food tasted mediocre. It seems like the 14th floor has become cursed with a wretched stench of the staff trying to conserve resources at the cost of ruining customer experience. No worries, I won't be back here again nor would I suggest this hotel to family and friends. I wouldn't be surprised if the hotel responds to this post. Whatever the response, it won't change my outlook....
Read more· it was my daughters birthday, since she love to stay at the hotel, we choose this hotel for her birthday. And we asked for upgrade room. We are very dissapointed because we booked in a 1 room with two single bed and when we saw the room it was only one single bed and we are three persons ( 2 adults and 1 child) and the room was too small for us. And we told them to change us in other room. They give us 2 beds but the room still small and the noise of the car and big bikes i can hear when we sleep. It was dissaponting.and we wanted to sing a happy birthday to my daughter in the lobby restaurant and its our chance to use the place since we brought ourself a cake and no one is there to disturb ( costumer ) BUT the staff never let us to do it. And they never told us the the onsen is close in saturday. Which is we check in on friday and we suppose to enjoy onsen for the next day in the hotel. I highly not...
Read moreI stayed at the Hotel Bay Gulls in Japan for two nights. The rooms were quite nice and comfortable, with a good view of the surroundings. The hotel's proximity to the Rinku Premium malls and outlets is a big plus, making shopping convenient.
The hotel offers some useful amenities, including vending machines and laundry facilities, which I found to be quite handy during my stay. They also provide currency exchange services, making it easy for travelers.
The hotel has a bar, which is a nice place to unwind, and on the 14th floor, there's a sky restaurant with a stunning view of the city. The food there is decent, but there might not be an extensive menu to choose from.
One thing to note is that knowing some Japanese can be an advantage because there aren't many English-speaking people in the area. Overall, Hotel Bay Gulls is a solid choice for a stay, and I had a pleasant experience with a 4 out...
