Omachi pizza — Restaurant in Takamatsu

My husband and I travel extensively in Japan, Europe and the USA. This little Italian restaurant in a far flung corner of Shikoku was one of our favorite meals ever! The owner works so hard and puts so much care and attention into his dishes, and it really shows. We were blown away by each course, starting with a refreshing salad with a healthy portion of deli meats and ending with a scrumptious tiramisu, not to mention a mouthwatering pizza and pasta in between. The owner appears to have studied in Italy and I’m sure Italians would be proud. He has brought fantastic, fresh regional cuisine to a rural part of Japan at an incredible price. We ordered 3 different pizzas and one spaghetti. All were fantastically made and they tasted delicious! It was a one-man-show where the owner did the ordering, cooking, serving, cashier and cleaning. And he did it all amazingly. There are pakring outside and a toilet beside. Really recommend this plc. Only thing is please be prepared to wait a while as he serves...

Stopped for lunch while on Henro. Hand made pizza, great taste and good price. Got a regular sized pizza and the lunch special A Set which added a salad and drink....
