Sunnyside Takatsuki Okamoto shop — Restaurant in Takatsuki

(英語で。すみません。日本語が下手です。)The breads and sandwiches are tasty and reasonably priced. However, it seems that they may have changed their "blend" coffee recently. It used to be smooth and easy-to-drink. Now, it tastes more like the bitter dark roasts you get at Starbucks, etc. But, the biggest negative of this place is the "no dogs" policy in the outdoor seating area. I have never seen an outdoor dining area that didn't allow dogs, either in Japan or the US. It's ridiculous. The most frustrating part is how they have leash posts to tie your dogs within a meter or two of the seating area. So, they are still right there next to the seating area, anyway! (But, exposed to the hot baking Japanese sun, and on a hot black asphalt surface.) The dog prohibition is what keeps us from going there more than rarely. Sucks

We tried to have breakfast on the terrace with our small dog and it didin’t take 1 Minute for the waitress to ask us to leave the dog literally a few steps in front of us at a designated spot for dogs. Especially for us, who came from Germany, this is outrageous to being asked to leave the dog as I already stated only few steps in front of us, despite having the dog on our knees and taking good care of it, while not causing any noise or disturbances. Sunnyside Takatsuki Okamoto is a pastery shop located near to Imashirozuka Kofun. The pastery are bake freshly at the shop. They are very nice sandwitch, breads, biscuits where you can choose from. Indoor and outdoor sitting is available at the shop. Many parking lots are available outside the shop.

I bought many variaty and choose the sit outside. The sparrow are waiting...
