Imashirozuka Ancient History Museum — Attraction in Takatsuki

Imashirozuka Ancient History Museum kept many of the ancient Japanese civilization artifects. Starting from the stone age until modern Bronze and Iron Age. There are many stone tools discovered here.

There are bronze mirror with the four mythical animal. Dragon, Phoenix, Tiger and Tortoise or Snake

Haniwa is the most interesting items here. Common Haniwa is the cylindrical shape. While the interesting ones are of houses. Warriors, Bird man, Wrestler and Sorceress Animal like horses, cow, pigs, chicken, dogs can also be found. The Terracotta are made to represent the ancient city life.

未確定ながら、継体天皇稜として紹介されている今城塚古墳に併設の高槻市立資料館です。

中には古墳の時代背景やなり立ち・埴輪や副葬品・レプリカながら市民が本物の阿蘇石(赤ピンク色)から複製した石棺までも展示されています。

トイレや売店もあり、三角緣神鏡や銅鐸のレプリカやお土産や関連本等々資料も販売されています。

資料館か隣接公民館に駐車するか高槻バスでいけます。

資料館裏が広大な今城塚古墳で、子供サイズのハニワのレプリカがグルリと古墳中堀を囲み 、周りには芝生公園になっていて、市民の憩いの公園になっています。 訪れた日も沢山の子連れの方々が遊んでいました。

一般の御陵は神宮司庁所轄管理地の為に、古墳というか御陵内部敷地には不遜な為に立ち入ることは勿論、陵墓丘に登ることなど不可能ですが、此方は認定されていない為に登丘が可能です。 資料館には身障者用駐車場もトイレもありますが古墳へのルートには階段があります。 一般道から公園へ入れる所があるようなので、そちらから回ればハニワのある段差近くや資料館から公園へ行く途中の古墳を見渡せる高い見晴台へのスロープはあるので(説明板にガイドアナウンスが流れている)車椅子の方もサポーターがおられれば楽しめると思います。 階段を登れれば、少し歩きますがハニワ(レプリカ)にも触れられます。 公園にもトイレや身障者用トイレもあります。

ただし墳丘墓の丘には、 湿地込みの芝生を超えて、 やや急な木段と雨の日には滑りやすそうな削れた坂を上り下りを繰り返さないと上には行けませんのでご注意下さい。

昔々の地震で古墳墓墳丘そのものが大規模に崩れ落ちて堀を埋めたとの事。

その為に、丘には急激に崩れた辺りに急な坂もありました。

木の根が罠のようにループして出ている所があり、当日も目の前で転びそうになった方がおられて驚きました。

En plus de sa gratuité, ce musée est digne d'un grand musée : qualité et pertinence du contenu mise en scène très bien faite et contenus pédagogiques accessibles aux enfants. bâtiment bien conçu présence de bénévoles là aussi très gentils et très professionnels (que je remercie pour avoir pris le temps de répondre à mes questions) (Il y a aussi des traductions en anglais)

Ce musée est important pour comprendre l'époque kofun et est très complémentaire du musée d'histoire de Yamagimoto (Tenri, Nara) pour l'histoire liée aux miroirs.

La petite boutique vend des souvenirs uniques et très intéressants pour garder un souvenir de sa visite.
