Café "Rindo" — Restaurant in Tateyama

The curry was good, the waiting time to be seated was not that bad, with seats to wait at the entrance of the restaurant, and the service was fast. An English menu was provided and you can order at the table from the tablet. However, it's sometimes lacking proper information on which kind of meat is used in the curries, especially the ones that are seasonal (beef? pork? chicken?). I had to ask to know. I enjoyed the black curry, it's an original idea. I'm giving only 3 stars because I believe it's not justified to pay that much money (900 yen for a coke, which is a massive increase of 300 yen compared to 2 years ago), even if it's a remote area, considering the high number of...

It’s a nice experience to take a rest after a long walk on Marudo here in Cafe Rindo. The staffs are friendly, the meals are served right after we made the order, and the atmosphere is absolutely chilling.

We had a Kurobe dam chiffon cake set and a quiche set, with a cup of iced coffee and straight tea. The chiffon cake is gigantic, tastes a bit sweat since it’s covered by cream and syrup. The quiche doesn’t have a fluffy texture yet the flavor...

Surprisingly good. We came in and grabbed a seat without having to wait. The chairs are low and comfy, the fresh wind blows in through through windows.

The restaurant was playing Rock it Tonight by Johnny Osbourne which was a strange choice. Bar that it felt very European.
