同心居 花小金井店 — Restaurant in Tokyo

If you're looking for a cozy Cantonese style Chinese in the Koganei area, you just found it. The place is small but well maintained, clean, and warm. Food is probably among the best (if not the best) Chinese in the area. The menu is more catered towards seafood lovers but there are plenty of meat dishes as well. The dishes are full of flavors but naturally seasoned and less spicy, so better to look elsewhere if you're looking for salty and spicy food. It's priced moderately (at least more expensive than the local Chinese diners or ramen place) but reasonable. I would not call this place expensive. The bottom line is, I haven't had a bad dish here and it's worth every penny. If you don't know what to order, go for any of the course meals to get acquainted with the spectrum of what they offer. You won't regret it. The place is a local favorite so it gets really busy during peak hours (weekends and evenings) so service can get a tad sloppy from time to time when the staff are overwhelmed but the service would still be top notch according to US standard. Best to get there early (e.g. 5:30-ish during weekday nights), and make sure you have reservations ahead of time. 【1人利用には向かない／味は良いが接客が残念…高価格帯としては再訪なし】

2025年8月13日17時、ネット予約で1人で訪問。 外には待ち客も多く、人気店の印象でしたが、結果的に「お店の選択、間違えたな…」と思わざるを得ませんでした。

このお店、完全に「家族連れ・グループ専用」だと思った方がいいです。 店内は3空間に分かれていますが、私が案内された奥の広間は、10人規模の家族連れで大盛況。子どもの声が響き、1人客には場違い感…。 特別な日や静かな食事を求めて来店される方にはおすすめしません。

しかも、公式HPや予約ページに「1人利用は非推奨」などの記載もなく、予約フォームには誕生日希望などの備考を記載する欄すらなし。

当日店頭で誕生日サプライズの相談をしても、冷たく「前日まででないと無理です」と却下されました。

◆接客面について

正直、ここが最も残念でした。 オーダーしても料理が中々料理が来ない

お冷のおかわりもこちらから言わないと対応なし 持ち帰り用容器を頼んでも3回目でやっと対応

隣のテーブルも「頼んだ料理が来ない」と揉めていた。 接客スタッフ全体に“お客さんを喜ばせよう”という意識が薄いと感じました。

比較として、めだかTANTAN（他店）では、厨房1名＋接客スタッフ２名でも13席をスムーズに回し、 料理提供のタイミングまで絶妙。

そこに比べると、こちらはシェフ5名・全56席にしてはオペレーションが雑で遅い。

高い価格設定の割には、“入店後はお待たせしない”という気遣いを全く感じられませんでした。

◆料理について

味は悪くありません。 「特製大海老のチリソース（4尾）」は甘めの仕上がりで、 万人受けタイプ。 ただ、スイートチリ系の甘さが強く、 辛みを期待すると肩透かしです。

鉄鍋焼き餃子（小）¥770はコスパよし。 また、ソフトシェルクラブ香味揚げ（¥2,310）は見た目に華はないものの、味は良好。

テイクアウト容器が無料でもらえるのは高評価ですが、 最初に案内がなかったため、頼み方に迷いました。

◆店内・設備・駐車場

生花のウェルカム装飾やトイレの花飾りなど、雰囲気づくりは丁寧 入口外の印刷物のメニュー設置も良いが、場所が目立たない

駐車場（8台）＋別の提携駐車場があるが、案内が不十分。

バイク駐輪についての情報もなく、常連客に注意される事態も発生…。

こういった細部が全体の体験を大きく左右します。

◆まとめ

味は悪くないが万人向けの無難な味付けでつまらない。

ただし価格帯に見合う接客と空間配慮はなく、 「1人利用」や「特別な日」には不向き。 「にぎやかな家族利用前提」であることを、 公式サイトで明示してほしいです。

ちなみに9年前に母と訪れた際も「高いだけで大したことない」と言われた記憶があり…。 久々に訪れてみましたが、残念ながら印象は変わりませんでした。
