This cozy little place is run by an 86-year-old Japanese guy who's just the sweetest, jolliest dude you'll ever meet. He's always going around with a big smile, making sure everyone's taken care of and having a good time. It's like getting served by the world's cuddliest teddy bear grandpa.

The food is phenomenal for the stupid cheap prices. I got the vegetarian ramen and it blew my mind. The broth was rich and so flavorful, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and it was loaded with fresh veggies. Simple but so satisfying.

While you're chowing down, you can catch whatever baseball game is on the TV, which adds to the chill, homey atmosphere. It's not luxurious by any means, but who needs fancy when the food is that good and the vibe is that inviting?
