I stopped by this place for the first time 4 days into my trip while staying in Aoto because the reviews seemed good and I was craving authentic sushi. What I got was much more than just amazing food.

The owner was very welcoming on my first day and walked me through how to order while giving me his recommendations. They were great FYI. I ate like I haven't eaten in days because the food was great and the vibes of the restaurant added to the flavor. I left more than satisfied. The experience was the highlight of my trip.

I then stopped by again for the next two days because I loved it so much. Again the food was great but the experience just kept getting better and better. On my last visit, the chef and I took a picture together after my dinner and that's when this place became my favorite place in all of Japan. I'll be sure to visit again when I come...

A gem. Fantastic local sushi place with a friendly chef and patrons as well. This was my first stop after the airport, I had a transfer at Aoto station and could not wait any longer to eat. So glad I found this place. I wanted to come again before I left Tokyo but sadly had to leave before they opened for dinner.

The tuna was exceptional and buttery. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm. The sushi chef’s wife made these cute toothpick holders. Best of luck to the chef and everyone else at the restaurant. A...

I was surprised by how spicy the food was– I'm sure you could ask for it not to be spicy, but if you don't think to then it's really spicy. Aside from that the food is very good. The chef spoke good English, everyone there was kind and friendly, so it was a great experience overall even though I usually have low...

Super local and very cute family-run place, been there over 30 years. Excellent sushi. Chef is lovely friendly bloke who speaks a little English. They were very patient with our zero Japanese and made us feel so welcome. We had a mix of onigiri, oshinko and the most airy amazing chawanmushi!
