After over 3 years of visiting this place I feel I need to update my review. To be fair, the atmosphere, pancakes and coffee are still very good and worth trying. The staff is friendly. There is plenty of parking.
The problem I have these days is with all the other food they serve. This place has the potential of being great but whoever comes up with these meals has a strange idea of what tastes good. Who wants salad dressing all over their pancakes? Who expects "Taco Rice" to actually be a Caesar salad with tortilla chips and salsa on top? The combination of ingredients just tastes bad and honestly it's a bit weird. Some meals don't even look like the pictures in the menu.
It also looks like they're trying to save money by restricting/reducing access to condiments? They used to have Ketchup and Mustard at the table which is what you would expect at a place like this but now you need to ask for everything. You want Ketchup? You need to ask and they will bring a ridiculously small amount for the effort. This is a place where you can order a burger and a giant plate of fries but you're going to have to repeatedly ask for Ketchup to the point it becomes embarrassing and quite honestly aggravating. You want some extra butter on those pancakes?... Well that will cost you.
The quality and service has definitely declined and my family has decided it's no longer...
Read moreEverything about this spot is pretty fantastic, just know the prices are a hair in the higher side. Theyâre not unfair, or price gouging, nothing of that sort, just a bit higher than the average cafe experience. That said, everything I ordered was delicious! The pancakes were fluffy and moist while still being heavy enough to leave you feeling satisfied. The coffee shake was more of an Oreo frappe, but it was a perfect treat on a hot day. I tried the seasonal spicy chicken as well and although the sauce didnât seem to cover the chicken at first, there was plenty that had run off and onto the plate to coat the rest. Thereâs plenty of parking for cars, dedicated bike parking (you need a kick stand) and just enough English on the menu to get by...
Read moreI went on a Saturday and it was so crowded. I had to wait for an hour. The car parking was full but no one was there to monitor it or the status of the parking lot was not easily understood. The restaurant was beautiful. I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this place. It gave a very Hawaiian feeling. I got taco rice for around ¥1400. I loved the taste, it was filling too. The staff was kind and friendly. Payment can be done through the card too so that is convenient. They have their own shop where they sell merch like dolls, cars, keychains, essential oils. Overall a really nice place to chill at and have some good...
