Mameraku — Restaurant in Tokyo

We came here with a group of 11 after a kayaking trip at Tama River. We were surprised we could get in with the group (although we had to sit separately 6 and 5), since we did not have a reservation.

The sets were very reasonably priced (¥1550 - ¥1650) and included a nice sample of various tofu and local tastes. Great deal for the quality and quantity of food.

We got 3 types of sets. Since it is tofu, it's a great option for vegetarians. If you order the set, the items may still come with meat (e.g. depending on which set, it could come with salmon or bacon) so you'll need to let them know that you don't eat meat ("sakana to niku nashi")

The fresh soy milk (with or without kuromitsu black sugar) was very rich and delicious if you like soy. It doesn't taste like store bought soy milk. Great experience and great food.
