Mammoth Coffee — Restaurant in Tokyo

昨年、残念ながら香港滞在中の画像や一時帰国中の画像がiphoneとPCの破損で一気に消えてしまいました。こちらの珈琲屋さんの画像もそうです。 かなり日差しの強い日に来店したので、喉が乾いていました。 おすすめして下さったケニア産の温かい珈琲1杯、もうひとつは、珍しい豆を選び、合計2杯頂きました。 どちらもLong Blackで薫りと後味が持続して楽しめるものでした。 ご近所のご高齢の女性お二人、他のテーブルには男性30代くらいのお一人が珈琲を頂いており、私が滞在中も常連と思われる幅広い年齢層の珈琲愛飲家が、豆を買いに数名訪ねてこられていました。

大声でおしゃべりして長居する喫茶店ではなく、あくまでも良質な豆を提供する場所です。その点だけは心に留められて、ご来店ください。またご自分が購入した飲料やお店の外観を写真撮影するのはOKですが、周囲のお客様が写らないように撮影されてください。

It's not easy to reach this place since it is far from near by Seibu Shinjuku Line train stations. If you are living walking distance from this coffee shop or willing to go on a bike and you are fond of good quality coffee beans, then you won't regret visiting here. The owner is very knowledgeable and he has passion to present good roasted beans to coffee lovers. Please, be warned that sometimes the shop owner could be a bit blunt but I have never had any unpleasant conversations with him. There're unspoken rules that this shop is not to dwell for unnecessary long time; plus chatting loudly and laughing your heads off while having coffee inside the shop are not welcomed; just simply enjoy coffee.

I guess this is a kind of annoyed review because I found it as a coffee shop but it's only a bean place. There are some seats near the front, but they're using it for storage basically. The beans smell nice, but this review is basically a caution against wanting to sit down to have a cup of...

【コーヒーの味】 全体的に飲みやすく、 深煎りのコーヒーは普段飲まないのですが、(苦みがあまり得意ではなく) マンモスコーヒーさんの深煎りコーヒーはとても飲みやすかったです。 (私の味覚が鈍感なのが悔やまれるのですが、旦那さんにショコラブレンドを飲んでもらったら「ショコラ感確かにある。美味しい」と話してました)
