SHUTTERS — Restaurant in Tokyo

Another great experience for me in Jiyugaoka. Shutters is already a popular place so the quality is guaranteed. I went for the lunch course and got lunch course B. The first salad was a さしみ salad. Dressing was outstanding and the fish tasted fresh. The first main was the ribs. Meat fell of the bone and it was something I've never tasted in japan before. Third was the bread which was garlic toast and mayo toast with some kani gratin dip. It was alright, this was probably my least favorite thing in the menu. The pasta was amazing and the dessert took the cake. I highly recommend you come here to try the spare ribs or the Apple Pie A la mode. You won't be disappointed and you will get to come to a wonderful town full of fun. Please like my review if you found it useful. the male staff was very stupid. it was supposed to be a birthday surprised party, he asked "what do you want to write in the birthday plate?" in front of all of us. his explaination was very difficult to understand despite the fact that all of us are fluent in Japanese. Food is not bad but will not go again. Poor service and took forever to wait for the apple pie and coffee! We were forced to order same spare rib course for lunch! Or else the person who wants to eat spare rib can't order it! And top of that, we had to order same pasta menu! And the pasta and rib weren't even separated in individual plates.
