For those times when you need to satisfy your coffee cravings, Tokyo Coffee should be at the top of your list.
Not only do they serve hot or cold coffee made from organic, freshly roasted beans, but you will also be spoilt for choice as they have a wide selection of homemade treats - from tiramisu and chocolate chip cookies to pancakes and waffles, just to name a few.
My friend and I have been here several times and tried many of their menu items, and they never failed to amaze. The quality of their food and drinks has been consistently excellent, making this quaint coffee shop a must-visit.
Apart from their menu, the shop’s ambience is also a compelling reason to visit. The design is well thought of - from its rustic vibe, to the smart use of light fixtures that create a relaxing atmosphere, to the tables and comfortable chairs where you and your friends are sure to spend a long time sharing stories. They even have a merch section where you can purchase mugs, coffee beans, and coffee maker to complete your coffee experience. To top it all off, the place has a roof-deck where you can bask under the sun, feel the cool breeze, watch the sunset, and if the sky is clear, see the majestic Fuji mountain!
Visiting this coffee shop is always a pleasure, thanks to the warmth and kindness of the owners and the servers. It is this top-notch customer service that takes this coffee shop to a whole new level. I can already see myself and my friends dropping by soon. Enjoy your visit and hope to see there! 😊

Read moreOK, Tokyo Coffee Rosters Cafe, it's yours! You win the coveted DR Best Coffee in Tokyo award. The coffee alone is worth the adventure out to Takiyama, but then there is the authentically home-made tiramisu, waffles and the cheese cake. All to die-for, Of course we had to test the affogato, the chai latte, and the frappe. Confirmed five-stars. However, this is much more than a taste sensation. The vibe that they have created in the cafe, which is located in a quirky old shotengai, is straight out of Brooklyn. I love the way that the roastery is integrated with the cafe. The interior design is inspired, eclectic, comfortable, inviting. I could have chilled there all day listening to their great tunes on the quality sound system. But then I discovered the roof terrace!! It was a perfect place to watch the sunset on a fall afternoon. There is also a sweet little play area for kids. One gets the sense that more than just a shrine to great coffee, that the TCR family are trying to create a community spot in this far flung corner of Tokyo. Coffee aficionados who claim to know the best that this town has to offer, are going to have to...

On top of that, the toilet was poorly maintained- not something you'd expect from a place that markets itself as a premium café. Between the noise, the unwelcoming staff, the poor facilities, and the high prices, I wouldn’t...
