The Wada/Jinba Pass (West) climb (blue line on map) begins off the busy Route 20 by Fujino Station and enters a long tunnel after crossing the tracks (picture 1). The climb has some undulations for the first 1.5km. After passing through the small village of Sawai, the gradient begins to steadily increase (picture 4).
