It was a strange experience.
My friend and I are both foreigners, we spoke Japanese and we were wearing masks.
There was one available table that hadn't been cleared yet and another shared table which had 2 empty seats.
Although we arrived there 2 hours before closing, the owner told us that he doesn't have any space anymore for today.
Another table offered to get up because they were almost done and he told them "No you don't have to get up".
He might have been busy, but I have a feeling that he didn't want foreigners in the shop 🤷
Looking at the comments, I see very few Reviews in English. But it's a cafe very close to a station, frequented by hikers. It makes me wonder if other foreigners have been refused service?
