Gantetsu Tomakomai — Restaurant in Tomakomai

Gantetsu Ramen isn’t fancy, but it’s good solid ramen. I was a little up in the air about what to order. The lovely waitress said her personal favorite was the soupless “maze-soba” ramen bowl and explained that for extra charge they offer 1.5 or 2 times the normal amount of noodles. It’s heavy on garlic and I like that. Really a satisfying meal.

My partner went a standard spicy miso. It was of the light colored slightly creamy variety. Not super miso-ish, but some other flavors in there, maybe some goma sesame. It’s not gonna knock your socks off, but good. Eggs had to be bought separately. Not sure how I feel about that. Chashu pork was soft, but...

Inside the shop The seating is mainly dark brown wood. A large counter is arranged in an L shape, and there are two tables (seating six). There is no raised area.

苫小牧にあるラーメン屋さん。 ガソリンスタンドの中にあるのが前から気になっていて入ってみました(^^) 入口に写真付きのメニューと券売機が置いてあり、先に食券を購入してから席に案内されるタイプでした。 初めてなのでメニューの上の方に書いてある味噌ラーメンを注文。 ランチタイムだったのでランチセットがあり、餃子と小ライスの方を注文。 味噌ラーメンはドロっとし過ぎず、サラッとし過ぎずのバランスのラーメンでした。 味も濃すぎず、あっさりし過ぎずのバランスの取れた美味しさでした。 チャーシューは1枚でしたが、調度良いとろっと感のチャーシューで美味しかったです😊 ランチセットの餃子については3個付いてきて、先に餃子のタレが皿に入っていました。 味はスーパーのチルド餃子を思い出す感じ……餃子は次来た時はもういいかなと思いました💦

お店の外に出てから気付いたのですが熱々鉄板チャーハンを押してるんですね！ 次はそっちも試してみたい...
