Kanade — Restaurant in Tomakomai

Cafe Kanade is a cute little establishment near Lake Utonai between Chitose and Tomakomai. With one large table, one small table and a three person counter it is definitely boutique. With just one person cooking and serving, the food can take some time, but it’s worth the wait. Order a red shiso soda or lime and honey and enjoy the music as you wait. Of course, they have coffee too. The food is simple but well made. We had a plate of nice mince, bean and tomato chili followed by deserts. ｢キッシュとサラダのプレート｣をいただきました。 葉物とキャロットラペ、ポテトサラダ、サラダチキンが丁度良い量です。添えられたトマトのマリネは甘く美味しかったです。 メインのキッシュも温かく、パイ生地サクサク。エビが入っていました。美味しかったです。 冷製コーンスープも、舌触りよく美味しかったです。

初めて来店しました♪小さい店舗ながらもとっても落ち着いた雰囲気で非日常を味わえる素敵なお店でした。店内の薪ストーブが良い感じで今回は春ですが、冬の季節のお店にも来店してみたいなと思いました♪ お料理もワンプレートでお野菜がいっぱいで食べ切れるかなと思いましたが、美味しくて全部食べきれました。食後に食べたほうじ茶プリンが本当に最高でした♪また食べに行きたいです。次はぜひ違うメニューを食べてみたい...
