Shabu-shabu On-Yasai Toyosaki Branch — Restaurant in Tomigusuku

Chanced upon this place and it was great! My family and I ate the all you can eat pork set, kids half price, very worth it. It was a cold day and we were given some hot towels upon seated, warming our hands. We ordered spicy soup and kelp soup. Food was excellent, I loved the seasoned quail eggs and tofu. Chinese noodles paired with spicy soup is a must try! The pork strips was great too, it comes in 3 per unit ordered. In the end I ate vanilla ice cream for dessert, very good. You have 90 mins to order, there is a timer on the top of the screen. The service was very good. They arrive fast after ordering, around 2-6 minutes depending on the customers in the restaurant. There is also a button which will alert them and will come to your table in 1 minute. They will also walk around and refill your soup or clear your plates. After you pay the bill, all staff will thank you in Japanese. Even though we don't speak the language, we can still feel the enthusiasm. The atmosphere can be a bit noisy as usually it is bustling with customers during the evening, but it is only a minor inconvenience, plus it also makes the restaurant lively. This place was awesome. I've had Shabu Shabu in the US and this blew that out of the water.

The Wagyu JoRosu was amazingly tender and we'll cut. They didn't try to short you by cutting it super thin. Even with 4 foreigners eating way may more than they're probably used to in the all-you-can-eat they were graceful about it and kept up amazing service. The tamari base soup was my favorite but the Szechuan soup was great too and just the right amount of spicy.

The cherry on top was when I accidentally left our hotel key there, the manager found it, called my hotel, and drove out to bring it to us before we even got back and realized it was missing. They refused a tip but I really wish they'd taken it.

Staffs here are nice and very helpful, especially the shop manager 店長親川太起, he even can talk English and translate for you all the way that make your orders smoothly be done.
