I am glad to see Costco in Sendai. It is a big whole sale market where you can find pretty much everything you might need; all kids of food, household materials, meat and fish products, cosmetics and many more. You can buy in big sizes of everything. We usually get detergent and washing dishes here. My daughter’s is big size of Nutela :) There is food corner. Delicious pizza with very cheap price, churros, soup and refill drink option. Cheese pizza is my favorite. In addition that there is a tire section and gasoline station. You can buy gasoline with a cheaper price if you have a costco card and a master credit card. What I don’t like is the annual fee. You need to pay every year to be able to do shopping here. Every time I visit Costco, I notice that prices have gone up, and the quality of their products keeps getting worse. Whenever you buy something from them, like vegetables or fruits, you’ll find spoiled or damaged items mixed in. Most of the things you buy from them have defects, and if you look carefully, you’ll notice them. Their customer service is terrible—there’s no phone number to call, and you’re forced to chat with a bot. We are human beings; what good is a bot to me?

I have costco membership purchased from USA. Costco states that membership can be used throughout all costcos worldwide. That is false in the sense that their systems for whatever reason has an issue acknowledging my card. Each location helps differently. Kawasaki Tokyo costco gave me 1 day pass to go there. Went back to USA to get new card as they thought was the issue. Came back to Japan and used new card in sendai. Had an issue again, except this time costco initially told me they ant help, card is blocked. Instead of 1 day pass they told me to purchase new membership from their location and it was only thing they can do.
